How much does car rental in Cyprus cost?
With Arenda, car rental in Cyprus starts from €21 per day for an economy automatic, with family 7-seaters and SUVs from around €48 per day. Every rate is all-inclusive: VAT (19%), third-party insurance and unlimited mileage are already in the price, with no deposit required.
Where can I pick up the car in Cyprus?
We are based in Paphos. You can be met at Paphos International Airport (PFO), collect your car at our Paphos City Center location, or have it delivered anywhere in Paphos. For long-term monthly rentals we can also arrange delivery to Limassol on request.
Can I drive anywhere in Cyprus with the rental car?
Yes. Every rental includes unlimited mileage across the Republic of Cyprus, so you can drive freely from Paphos to Coral Bay, the Akamas peninsula, Troodos, Limassol, Larnaca and Ayia Napa. Insurance does not cover the Turkish-occupied north (beyond the Green Line) or off-road tracks.
Which side of the road do you drive on in Cyprus?
In Cyprus you drive on the left, a legacy of British rule, and most of our cars are right-hand drive automatics. Roads are well-signposted in Greek and English, and the motorways linking Paphos, Limassol and Larnaca are toll-free.
Do I need a deposit or a credit card to rent in Cyprus?
No. You reserve online with a small pre-payment — no large deposit is frozen on your card and a credit card is not required. You can pay by cash, debit card or PayPal. A refundable excess may apply depending on the car and insurance, which we always explain before you confirm.
What do I need to rent a car in Cyprus?
You need a full valid driving licence and a passport or ID card. Drivers aged 18 to 75 are welcome; those aged 21–24 need at least 3 years' experience and pay a small Young Driver fee. For non-Latin-script licences an International Driving Permit is recommended.
Is it better to rent at the airport or in Paphos town?
Both cost the same daily rate. Airport meet & greet is most convenient if you are flying in — we meet you at arrivals with the keys. If you are already in Paphos, collecting at our City Center location or arranging delivery to your hotel can save the airport delivery fee.
Can I rent a car in Cyprus for a month or longer?
Yes. We offer long-term monthly rentals at reduced daily rates, ideal for extended stays or remote workers. Long-term rentals can also be arranged for the Limassol area on request — just contact us with your dates.
