Car hire in Paphos with no deposit and no credit card.
Rent a car in Paphos without a large security deposit and without a credit-card hold. Book with a small pre-payment and pay the rest by cash, debit card or PayPal — the way renting should work.
No deposit, no card hold, no nasty surprises
Most rental companies block a large sum on your credit card "just in case". As a local Paphos company renting our own cars, we don't — here is exactly how it works.
No security deposit
No four-figure sum frozen on your account for the whole trip. You keep your money available for your holiday.
No credit card required
A debit card, cash or PayPal is all you need. No credit card in your name? No problem — you can still rent.
Everything included
VAT (19%), third-party insurance and unlimited mileage are in the price from the start — not "compulsory extras" at the desk.
Reserve in minutes
Book online with a small pre-payment to confirm your car. Settle the balance on pick-up — no paperwork marathon.
Three simple steps, zero deposit drama
No card holds, no surprises on arrival. Here is the whole process from booking to driving away.
Book online
Pick your dates and car and confirm with a small pre-payment. No credit card and no deposit are required to reserve.
Pay your way
Settle the balance on pick-up by cash, debit card or PayPal. Nothing is frozen or held on a credit card.

Everything you need to know
Answers to the most common questions about renting a car in Paphos with Arenda. Still wondering? Get in touch.
Can I rent a car in Paphos with no deposit?
Yes. With Full insurance, you can rent a car at Arenda in Paphos with no large security deposit. You confirm your booking online with a small pre-payment and pay the balance on pick-up — we do not freeze a deposit on your card for the duration of the rental. Rates start from €26 per day, with VAT and insurance included.
Do I need a credit card to rent a car in Paphos?
No. Unlike most international desks, we do not require a credit card. You can pay by debit card, cash or PayPal. This makes Arenda one of the few Paphos rentals genuinely open to travellers who don't have — or don't want to use — a credit card.
Is there any refundable excess or hold at all?
There is no credit-card hold. Depending on the car and the insurance option you choose, a refundable excess may apply under the standard Collision Damage Waiver — meaning the most you would pay in the event of damage is capped. We always explain the exact figure clearly before you confirm, so there are no surprises.
Why do other companies ask for a big deposit?
Large desks block a deposit (often €800–€1,500) on a credit card to cover the insurance excess. Because we are a local Paphos company that owns and maintains its own fleet, we manage risk differently and can offer no-deposit terms while keeping prices low.
Can I pay with a debit card?
Yes. Debit cards are accepted for both the online pre-payment and the balance, as are cash and PayPal. You do not need a credit card at any stage of the rental.
Is no-deposit car hire reliable?
Absolutely. No deposit does not mean lower quality. Every car is serviced, fully insured and comes with 24/7 roadside assistance. We are rated 5.0 out of 5 by 774 Google reviewers — renting in Paphos since 2018.
What do I need to bring to pick up the car?
Just a valid driving licence held for at least one year, your passport or ID, and the debit/credit card or cash for the balance. Drivers aged 18 to 75 are welcome — no credit card, no deposit paperwork. A small Young Driver fee (€6/day) applies to drivers aged 21–24, and the same Senior Driver fee to drivers aged 71–75; drivers aged 18–24 with under 3 years' experience are welcome by request.
Where can I collect a no-deposit rental in Paphos?
You can be met at Paphos Airport (PFO), collect from our Paphos City Center location, or have the car delivered anywhere in Paphos. Choose your preferred pick-up point when you book.
